daurah Hikari : An-Nasr

reviewed in Al-Madinah,the last surah that was revealed

An-Nasr
1.When comes the Help of Allâh and the conquest ,
2. And you see that the people enter Allâh's religion in crowds,
3. So glorify the Praises of your Lord, and ask for His Forgiveness. Verily, He is the One Who accepts the repentance and forgives

The first ayat :
one day, Umar was sitting in a crowd and he asked the people there, "what do you say about Alah's statement(When comes the Help of Allâh and the conquest ). some of them said "we were commanded to praise Allah and seek His forgiveness when He helps us and give us victory" but some of them remained silent.
yes, they remained silent. do you know why? lets get back to the story.^_^
Umar said to ibn Abbas "is this what you say o ibn Abbas?" he said "No", "What do you say?" "It was the end of life of Allah's Messenger that Allah was informing him of."
a big shock isnt it? never thought of it before. and the Prophet (pbuh) died in the same year.

The second and third ayat:
from these ayats we can see that Allah has teached us the manner , when we see people revert back to Islam. have you ever thought about why we have to ask for forgiveness and repent? Praising to Allah is logical but why ask for His forgiveness and repent? sometimes we come upon a revert Japanese. How happily we were to meet them because they have come back to Islam, and we praised to Allah but did we ask for His forgiveness and repent? We need to ask for forgiveness and repent because obviously that human beings are not perfect. they are prone to make mistakes.even when we are fighting for Allah. For example,

2.214. (Given the history of humankind in this world,) do you think that you will enter Paradise while there has not yet come upon you the like of what came upon those who passed away before you? They were visited by such adversities and hardships, and were so shaken as by earthquake that the Messenger and those who believed in his company nearly cried out: "When comes God’s help?" Beware! the help of God is surely near!

Muslims will be tested by Allah, till they cry out ""When comes God’s help?". isnt the phrase a doubtful phrase? Have we not trust in Allah? so, even this little doubt is the little tiny sin that we didnt realize.

so, now you understand why we need to repent and ask for His forgiveness..right? subhanAllah, even when we didnt realize that we doubt Allah, He still helps us. Allah is so Merciful. Dont you think so?
